Wow. 1.48 and like in the movies there was a rumble of thunder and within seconds, rain. Am tempted to look outside to see if people are scuttling for shelter and putting up their umbrellas.

Ah HA, and here I was in Tel Aviv sitting in the moonlight on the terrace having just arrived....and missing the thunder. Shame.

we arrived back late last night, and we heard it just as we'd gone to bed.
we flew back from Greece, and there was a lot of lightning underneath us, i think we were over Austria at the time.
And we had a small earth quake on Monday morning too.

I like the way JonR corrects Ivanhoe for his breach of etiquette - referring to Mrs Jon, when he should know that the correct way to address the significant other of a Poster is of course Mrs R, Mrs Ivanhoe, Mrs Paul - one exception that I can think of being The Professor.

Hmmm, the Professor.;..nuff said!
