Hi, I'm not at all local sadly, but wondering if anyone can shed any light on the Nash family who lived at 1 Collinson St? Father (James), mother (Lily). My mother (Alice) became estranged from her family aged 6 (in 1933). I believe there were 9 in her family. She is still alive, but has recently become very ill. Thanks.
Hi,I have just joined London SE1,I was born in Lambeth Walk in 1934,I now live in New Zealand,I am doing my family genealogy and both sides of my family lived and worked in Bermondsey in the 1800`s and early 1900`s,the other side, the Western`s lived in Blue Anchour Lane, they were Mineral Water manufacturers. I never lived in Bermondsey,I always lived in Lambeth. There was at that time a large family of Mitchells which was my grandmothers maiden name, they were all tanners,I wonder if there are any still living there?
