Thank you, Jan.

Congrats.

For those not aware of SE1 prehistory, there was an early assumption that TLMJJ was actually a boy dressing up as a girl. Presumably this is why she was stalked. Not just by Birdie, but others. (If there is an article there must be scope to revisit out some very interesting early threads. Just like the childhood photos parents bring out.) She used to appear very available. Maurits can confirm.

But now our very own TLMJJ is going to be a bride. Fab.

I can indeed. I was first choice- let it be said.

REALLY Maurits? I thought it was Mapmaker (boo hoo where IS he?)

Maurits was indeed first choice. We were engaged to be married for some time, but then circumstances conspired against us. It was all very sad, and we both prefer to not talk about it too much.
;D

I bought a tiara today. It's lovely. I am trying hard to resist the temptation to wear it round the house.

Can we all be virtual bridesmaids? That way none of us will look too bad in the pics or upstage the bride ...

Well I, as the granny of you all, insist on being Matron of Honour (virtual or otherwise).

I thought it was all off with Maurits ;0)

(Congratulations!)

...if you press it, they will come.
