Some nice random images now appearing at the top of the page... hope you weren't unduly influenced by the redesign of Lambeth's website in that direction.

But what about all the posters who keep the forum running in the office . Is there a case for an alternate graphic-free version that looks as bland as a Microsoft office document to avoid detection:)

Hadn't noticed the random images on the Lambeth site!

I've had the random image script sitting around for a while and never got round to putting it on the site.

Generally I work on the basis of the fewer images the better (especially as the site has more traffic than ever, so bandwidth is an issue).

However, I have long felt that the site needed something to bring the area alive a bit more, so i thought I'd experiment with these images.

They may not stay long, at least in their current shape and size.

Hopefully a new, streamlined, bandwidth-efficient, aesthetically pleasing, fully standards-compliant design for the site will be unveiled in a few months' time.

The random images have now been removed due to the rather frightening effect on our bandwidth costs!

They may return in due course when the rest of the site is better optimised.
