Hi all

Our hosting provider carried out some technical work on the web server that powers the SE1 site this morning.

It looks like the forum database has got a bit mangled in the process, for reasons I can't understand.

A couple of threads that were active this morning are no longer showing up, although the messages are still in the underlying database.

I can't quite figure out how to resolve the issue at present, but please be assured that it's a technical error, not a conspiracy to suppress free speech!

James hi,

Thanks for this message.
Do you know if a message about a diving instructor has gone missing please?
I posted one yesterday and can't see it now.

Thank you

I am not aware of any further problems of this nature over the weekend - nor did I ever see any message about a diving instructor.
