Could we have polls in chat threads?

You might have seen we're trying to organise a guided walk in the area (and it would be great if you wanted to come. You could even come incognito, as we're bound to be in merkins).

I'm just about to ask people for preferences (dates/times/themes), and wondered if there was any alternative to starting one long thread that takes ages to go through.

Not being v tech-minded, the only thing I could think of was could we use polls in chat threads? Then I could start two or three poll-threads (one each for time/date/theme), leave them up for (say) a week, and just take the "winners" and organise something around that.

The same sort of thing would also be useful for arranging socials.

What do you think?

Can we do it? Would you want us to do it?

If the answer to either of the above is "Yes", then please how do we do it?

Thanks and best wishes
