There's an article on Page 17 of todays ES under the heading:
'Londoners who no longer want to be village people'

There's a list of Real V Replica London villages.
According to the list there are only 11 Actual London villages
and 20 invented ones, including Camberwell Village and Walworth Village.
No mention of Bermondsey even as an invented.
Marleybone has become the first London neighbourhood to ditch its "village" tag
because the term has been demeaned by copycat streets with a Post Office
and a row of grotty shops adopting the term.
The article suggests "vilage" has now become a joke term used by estate agents.
Maybe 'Bermondsey Village' residents would like to start a campaign to
have their village status officially recognised!

not that much if the last meeting was at the begining of feb and the next date hasn't been decided
