I realise it is only just October, but does anybody fancy getting together for a Christmas meal on Saturday, 20 December? I love roast turkey & Xmas pud, but don't always have it on Christmas Day.
I have reserved a table at the Kings Arms, Tooley Street for 7.30pm on Saturday 20 December.
The food choices are:-

Ham hock terrine with piccalilli purée, baby gherkins & sourdough toast
Fresh tomato & basil soup with warm bread & butter
Grilled goats cheese bruschetta on beetroot bread with caramelised walnuts
Smoked mackerel pate with creamed horseradish and sourdough toast
Mains
Roast crown of Norfolk Turkey / Nut Roast with all the trimmings including a
Yorkshire Pudding
Short Beef Rib with a mulled wine jus, creamy mash & French beans
Rich woodland mushroom pie with pea & mint crushed new potatoes and
vegetarian gravy
Pan-seared fillet of sea bream on mussel & saffron chowder with samphire
Desserts
Christmas pudding & brandy sauce
Egg-nog brûlée with shortbread biscuits
Dark chocolate brownie with honey & winter-berry spiced compote & vanilla ice
