Well darlings, I must say, and it doesn't happen often, I WAS ABSOLUTELY WRONG. Wrong as wrong could be. Despite the fact that it seemed only logical that all the firework do's would be on Saturday, last night had FAR more fireworks than Saturday. Monday or no Monday, school tomorrow or no school tomorrow, work in the morning or no work in the morning. Last night was the real thing, one simply didnt know where to look! SO, next year (and since it's a Leap Year and we move on two days and not one) Firework Night will be on Wednesday and THAT WILL BE THE NIGHT and no messing about. So put it in your diaries. Meantime, to prepare for the Lord Mayor's Show on Saturday at five oclock.

Prepared for the Lord Mayor's Show I am - I shall be on the London Eye.

Now I just need the display to be precisely on time!

And here I was thinking I would have prime viewing just a few seconds walk from my new abode - can't beat the london eye though. What do we need to do to make friends with your friends dad??
