I'm up for both ante and post natal pilates too...well ante-natal for the next 4 weeks or so!

I would also be interested in antenatal pilates but I'm working Mon to Fri until Easter so at the moment could only make an evening or weekend.

If anyone is also up for yoga then let me know. There is a lovely lady who does classes at the Tanneries (previously at Globe House) just behind Bermondsey Street. I'm talking to her about setting up a mums and babies yoga class - she specialises in pregnancy and baby yoga - and it would be good to find out about numbers of people interested. It's also possible that the classes could cater for pregnant people too - I will check with her. I think it's about 8/9 pounds a class but will check that too.

Re Pilates - I went to Studio 74 while pregnant and it was quite good but very expensive and I'm not sure I noticed much difference - that may have been because I only went once a week...just thought I'd let you all know!

Hi

I would be very interested in mother and baby yoga. My friend use to go to a place in farringdon years ago and she said it was brilliant! My baby is not due till April - so please put me on the list.

Thanks

I think you probably have my name down already Hodge, but just in case you don't, I'm definitely up for the yoga too.

Wow!
Hadn't visited this threat in ages, and didn't realise there are so many mums and bumps here! I'm due in April, and am definitely interested in signing up for yoga if it's offered at the Tanneries. currently, I'm going to St. Thomas' hospital for the classes, which is starting to be a chore what with bump getting bigger by the second.

Also, I'm interested in meeting up with any other mums and bumps, but work Saturdays. Is there any chance one of the meetings could be on a Sunday instead?

Yoga or Pilates is good! Very happy if yoga classes can be arranged at Globe! Will probably be alot cheaper than Pilates.

This weeks meet up is on Saturday this time, but could be on a Sunday next time if that is better for most?

Looking forward to sharing hot choc and chats on Saturday and meeting anyone who couldn't make last meet!

Cheers,
Victoria

Would anyone be interested in going to a new mums and babies yoga class at The Tanneries on Crucifix Lane? (it has the classes that used to be at Globe House)

The very lovely teacher I went to before having a baby is keen to set up a class if I can find enough takers - she'd like to do a trial run class in February some time and has suggested a brunchtime session - on a Thursday at 11.

From what I understand you bring your baby along and they watch you from the end of the mat for the first bit (or in my case, scream loudly and have to be jiggled at the end of the hall) - then there is a baby yoga bit at the end of the session (which isn't as ridiculous as it sounds). I think it is probably very flexible though (no pun intended) - so you could come without your baby if you can find someone to look after it.

The teacher specialises in baby and pregnancy yoga - so also possibility of preggers people coming too I will check with her.

Let me know if you would be interested by email at [email protected] as I am trying to get an idea of numbers for her - classes were 8 a time when I last went - I don't know if this is dependent on numbers or not I will check this too.

PS sorry to those who have already replied -hopefully i've copied you in separately?
