Hi - I did some antenatal pilates at the studio on Bermondsey Street - going off peak (ie the middle of any weekday) was cheapest - but it was still very expensive I thought (25 a time I think it was) - though cheaper than anywhere else I could find in central London. Also what you can do is so limited when you're pregnant that I didn't really notice it making any difference at all - I did love doing yoga though - speaking of which! I am helping set up a pregnancy/mums/baby yoga class though (my teacher from pre-baby specialises in it and is keen to do a specialist class so I'm helping find people who are interested) - and I can highly recommend her. The class will start in April....
Hi Gilliana - I cannot make it today as have to go to post office while Max sleeps and knowing the long queues there I would not make it to Browns in a reasonable time.
But I can keep next Monday free if anyone wants to do Browns then.
Alternatively, I am always open to meet up for coffee or walk in the sunshine on other days (usually from 12noon onwards), now that I have some sort of routine established. It does get a bit lonely just with the baby so feel free to send me a message if any of you want to meet up, or go to the Riverside Soft Play area at Fishers Downside.
I'm limited to classes that fit around work at the moment and after much hunting I think I'm going to have to give up on the pilates idea as there just doesn't seem to be anything suitable and affordable in the area, or central London for that matter.
I'd be interested in the yoga classes tho, depentdent on time location and price.
21st is no good for me as I'm being made to work weekends at the moment. I'm hoping to be freed up by the following weekend though and would definitely be keen to meet up again. You're one month ahead of me -I'm due 15th May...
I'm up for meeting but weekends aren't great for me. Anyone around during the week? It does get rather lonely with just baby as company all day during the week!
