(As ever, apologies if there was a thread. I searched but didn't find one.)

Does anyone have tips on storing furniture, bedding, clothing, etc for up to a year, and recommendations for companies to use?

Do the storage companies provide the packing materials?

Is access permitted during the storage term?

Can the storage term be reduced or extended?

Thanks!

I used ABC behind ASDA on the Old Kent Road. Different sizes of units available and access any time you want. They were at the time also pretty flexible in changing the duration of the storage and quick to repay the deposit...

If you won't need to access your belongings during their year in storage you might like to consider storage facilities outside London - it's quite a bit cheaper.
