I've recently bought a flat at Peabody - bricklayer's arms and know there are soon to be section 20 cyclical works. Im trying to guestimate how much the works may be so I can set money aside. I know that the survey/ quote is still to be decided/ hasnt been carried out yet but will probably include pointing/ re roofing/ external paintworks etc.
- Does anyone remember what the last round of cyclical external works cost about 10 years ago or how much Peabody estates elsewhere in SE1 have been charging leaseholders? Any help trying to work this out would be much appreciated. Dont want to suddenly be hit with a nasty surprise!
- Does anyone know what arrangements Peabody have for people to pay the cost? installments/ interest free loans/ lengthy notice period etc etc.
any thoughts would really help me out. Thanks very much
