Did any leaseholders go to the open day for major works proposed on Neckinger Estate today (June 24th)?

How do you feel about proposals for the new playground?

Do you think there's sufficient evidence that the playground needs to be replaced and are you happy to pay for this?

I've informally been told that this could be up to 150 each.

I have often passed this playground and have always thought it to be new and not in need of repair let alone replacement. I am even more surprised and somewhat shocked to hear that I as a leaseholder may be collectively billed for this. Unfortunately I cannot afford 150+ to spend on replacing a new playground with another new playground no matter what climbing frame is on it especially following the huge cost of the estate's section 20 repairs which I am still paying off. The section 20 costs are more necessary. Whereas this playground proposal is an improvement and not a necessary repair so I do not see why us leaseholders should have to pay for it.
