I've used Martin&Co (near London Bridge, on Tooley Street) for the past couple of years. They're a small(ish) franchise of a larger group. They have found me good tenants, which was my main concern, and have got me competitive rents.
Anyhoo, the fact that I am taking the time to promote them is the best indicator that I'm happy with the job they do.

I have one to avoid...
We rented our place via Acorn about two years ago while abroad with work.
They were terrible.
Inspections were never carried out despite them being contracted and us requesting them several times.
When we moved back in there was very obvious damage that they had not put on the outgoing inventory report. They eventually admitted fault and paid for this to be rectified, however that took nearly a year of constant chasing.
We also received incorrect payment demands well after we'd stopped using them.
So I'd not use them for managing a rental.
On the flipside a few friends have used them for sales and they've been good there.
I haven't used them myself, but Young London who are based on Great Suffolk Street seem to be pretty good based on the number of awards they've won over recent years. Apparently they won best UK lettings agency 2013/14
They're also offering first 3 months with no fee.
No connection to them, they're just on the ground floor of my building and personally, I'd rather work with local small agency than national like Foxtons etc if I was going to rent my place.
