Metro Central Heights - Curtains

Hello,

We've recently moved in to a flat in Metro Central Heights and we want to put up curtains - we've been told as well as having a support at either end we'll need one in the middle of the curtain rail. We have a vent above the window (no wall) that seems pretty hollow and we want to know - can it be used to support the curtains? Or what have other people done to put up curtains?

Sorry, a rather dull post...

We live a MCH and recently refurbished what had been our rental apartment. We had what sounds like a similar problem to yours. We decided on a simpler solution and installed panel blinds which are lighter in weight than curtains. We had looked at vertical Venetian blinds but the panels were more appealing to us and cost much less.
