21-year old Zoro Belziri has been jailed for 3 years for possession with the intention to supply crack cocaine and heroin.

On 19 June 2007 police were called to Abbey Street SE1 following reports that there were males breaking into a property.

Bleziri was discovered at the scene and was searched by police. He was found to be in possession of a small quantity of herbal cannabis and arrested.

Whilst in police custody he was searched again and officers found 15 small rocks of crack cocaine and heroin.

When police officers searched his home address they found more crack cocaine and heroin.

"This is a very good court result taking a prolific offender off the streets of Southwark," says PC Kinkead of Southwark CID. "Prompt action by the arresting officers and the CID has led to a large quantity of drugs being found."
