Police appeal to trace missing man last seen near Waterloo

Menelik Mimano, from Beckenham, finished college in the King's Cross area at around 6.30pm on Tuesday 23 July. He spoke to a family member on the phone and sounded distressed. He then ran away from his friends.

When police were contacted, they deemed Menelik to be a high risk missing person.

Enquiries have established that he was sighted in the South Bank area at around 8pm by a friend. He was last seen heading in the direction of Waterloo Station.

Menelik Mimano is a black male, aged 26, of slim build, with short black hair.

At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a light purple T-shirt and blue shorts.

Officers are increasingly concerned for Menelik's wellbeing and would urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call police on 101 or Missing People on 116000.
