About this role

Time required: Tuesdays, October 2018 to June 2019 excluding December. Select the Tuesdays that suit you (in advance).

Duration: From 9am to 2.30pm (start time subject to change from week to week depending on the specific concert, but no earlier than 9am, and often 10.30am).

Duties: Support the Artistic Director as required on each concert day. Duties may involve (but not be limited to) setting up (eg moving chairs, putting up posters, etc) before the concert; greeting performers and visitors; and occupying the 'front of house' desk from the arrival of performers (9-10.30am) to end of concert at 2pm, and helping to tidy up afterwards, till 2.30pm. This role which would suit anyone able-bodied who is interested in music. It is ideal for those looking for experience in arts administration.

Borough New Music hosts free concerts of music by living composers every Tuesday at St George the Martyr Church, Borough High Street SE1 1JA (opposite Borough tube). More information is available at www.boroughnewmusic.co.uk
