Pop Goes Design!

In these workshops children will explore illustration and graphic design techniques to create book covers, album or CD covers and posters inspired by the examples of iconic 60s graphic design featured in our exhibition - Designing Modern Britain. At the end of each workshop children can take their Pop Designs home with them.

This workshop is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and is part of The Big Draw campaign and Family Learning Week.

All children’s creativity activities are suitable for children aged from 6 to 12 years and take place in the Education Centre at the rear of the second floor gallery. Under 12s are entitled to free entry to the Design Museum but must be accompanied at all children's activities by a paying adult (£7), 12 year olds will be charged a reduced entrance fee of £4.
