Visitors to HMS Belfast can enjoy a series of 'living history' re-enactments, which dramatically recreate a number of aspects of life at sea during the Second World War.
Volunteer Members of the Wavy Navy, a 1940s Naval Living History Group, will be performing gun drills and simulated firing using one of the ship's secondary armament 4-Inch mountings, a demonstration of damage control systems, the serving of the daily rum ration in the Arctic Mess Decks and 'Captain's Defaulters' which focuses upon how discipline was maintained at sea, through the Captain and his officers.
