Katherine Gili

Katherine Gili is a sculptor who for the past 40 years or so has extended the physical potential and emotional range of her abstract steel sculpture in a manner both intelligible and forceful.

Beginning from a rigorously abstract canon, she has developed in the latter part of her career a distinct and direct relationship with the physicality of the body.
