An exhibition celebrating the importance and interdependence of fine art with applied design in the creation of contemporary landscape.
Edward Hutchison's watercolours and drawings form an essential part of his design process, exploring his responses to site conditions and seeking out a successful design solution in partnership with computer drawings. A varied collection of works illustrating the breadth of his landscape practice are published this autumn by Thames and Hudson in a book aimed at the wider body of landscape practitioners, students and architects as well as members of the public. The book, 'Drawing for Landscape Architecture - Sketch to Screen to Site', will be launched at the start of this exhibition.
