While the exhibition spaces at the IWM are accessible to visitors throughout the year, the staff areas of the building, which was formerly the Royal Bethlem Hospital or 'Bedlam' are usually off limits to the public.

Free tours will include the historic dome chapel and talks on the history of the museum and building as well as a presentation on its proposed redevelopment.

There will also be an opportunity to talk to staff from Bethlem Hospital Archive and the IWM.
