Bermondsey Neighbourhood Forum Public Meeting

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

In April Bermondsey was named as one of the 'front runner' communities to serve as a test bed for neighbourhood planning under provisions set out in the Government's Localism Bill.

Seven months later, Bermondsey Neighbourhood Forum has arranged two (identical) meetings to give people the chance to get an update on the work that has been carried out so far, including:

• feedback on what people have told the forum about their priorities and issues for the area
• information about the studies that academics and students have carried out in the neighbourhood
• details of development 'hot spots' – the key areas where proposals for demolition and redevelopment could be brought forward.

The Bermondsey Neighbourhood Forum area is bounded by the river in the north, Borough High Street, Great Dover Street and Harper Road in the west, New Kent Road in the south and Tower Bridge Road in the east.
