Former Victorian school converted in contemporary idiom (Paxton Locher Architects 1998) to provide theatre/dance rehearsal facilities, plus striking gallery alongside a cafe and glazed courtyard (the Glasshouse - Satellite Architects 2003). New studios and meeting rooms (Munkenbeck & Partners 2007) on the restored top floor (lost to wartime bombing).
Tours will be prefaced with a lecture Orange Street to Orange Street School: The Building of 171 Union Street.
