Learn The Sardana

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

As Catalunya shares St George with England there are plans for the Catalan dance called the Sardana to be performed outside St George the Martyr Church in Borough High Street on St George's Day next year.

Anyone will be able to join in, as they do in the Spanish region, but it helps to have had some practise.

The sessions are in the crypt which is entered from the back of the church -walk down the piazza at the side where the great event will happen in April.
