Second of two walks led by Kevin Flude and Dougie Killock.
Sunday's itinerary includes a look at the finds to the east of London Bridge, and will follow a trail into the interesting area of Bermondsey, home of the leather trade in London, and will end with an examination of the archaeology and remains of Bermondsey Abbey.
Kevin Flude is a former Museum of London archaeologist who is now the director of the Old Operating Theatre Museum & Herb Garret. He has enjoyed leading guided walks since the late 1970s.
Dougie Killock began his archaeological career as a volunteer on the excavations of Bermondsey Abbey and has since worked as a professional archaeologist on the Abbey, nearby Pope's mansion, and in Southwark at Ewer Street, the Roman religious complex at Tabard Square and cemetery at Trinity Street, amongst other sites.
