Marcius Galan explores the metaphorical capacities of space and our relation to it through his wide ranging practice, including installation, sculpture, photography and video. The exhibition will present 'Three sections', an installation which uses paint, floor wax and light filters to create an optical illusion in one half of the North Galleries. In 9x9x9 an oversized 'mobile' sculpture, which consists of a static system made of timber, cables and circular iron plates, will extend across and upwards in the exhibition space.
