Evie Wyld and Chloe Ardijis won major literary prizes for their first novels. While their second novels depict entirely different worlds and experiences they hold in common a theme: women protagonists determined to disappear from the world's radar, in Wyld's All the Birds, Singing a sheep farmer on an unnamed British island, in Ardijis' Asunder a museum guard at the Portrait Gallery. And both are haunted by the past...
