Internationally-acclaimed photographer Dayanita Singh breaks away from the print-on-the-wall tradition in a major new body of work, presented for the first time at Hayward Gallery.

In a further advance on her experimental bookmaking, in which photography becomes a starting point rather than an end in itself, Go Away Closer presents Singh's new portable 'museums' of stories, themes and image-repertoires, alongside her most well-known series of works, such as Dream Villa, Blue Book, I am as I am, Bombay Portraits and the Mona portfolio.
