Sabrina Chap is New York based musician, writer and mental health activist. Her most recent book is the groundbreaking anthology, Live Through This - On Creativity and Self-Destruction (Seven Stories Press). Now in it's second edition with an introduction by Amanda Palmer, it contains essays by bell hooks, Nan Goldin, Swoon, Kate Bornstein and more. Primarily a cabaret performer, her albums, 'Oompa!' and 'We are the Parade' have been lauded by Curve, Bitch and Bust Magazine. With performances deemed 'Rousing' by the New Yorker, Sabrina Chap balances the edge of sanity with her written work, while exploring insanity in her on-stage performances.
