Egyptian storyteller Chirine El Ansary whisks the audience away to the heart of the Arab world. Through tales of love, death, war and peace from the cradle of civilisation, Chirine draws on Egyptian folklore, Sufi stories, the fables of Kalila wa Dimna and the 1001 Nights.

The Crick Crack Club works with spoken word artists and tellers of traditional tales in Britain. It also supports indigenous and global cultural traditions and is able to draw on the diverse talents of an international network of storytellers across the world. The Club is a project of The London Centre for International Storytelling.
