A photographic exhibition by members of Four in Ten, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Peer Support Group of South London and Maudsley NHS (SLaM).
This exhibition brings together a collection of images taken over the summer of 2013 around themes of identity, wellbeing, light and places of tranquillity. The collection is the culmination of a three month project delivered in partnership with the Institute of Psychiatry, SLaM and the Four in Ten LGBT Equalities Project delivered by METRO.
This project seeks to challenge the double stigma faced by LGBT people with mental health problems – the misperceptions of people with mental health problems and services ill prepared to meet the needs of LGBT people.
The exhibition has been made possible with funding from the Maudsley Charity and a small grant from Southwark LGBT Network as part of Southwark’s LGBT History Month.
