Open Streets Southwark

For five hours, one of Bankside's busiest roads will be a car and bus-free zone.

Locals and visitors will be encouraged to find new ways to use the space, including walking, cycling, roller-skating, playing sport, performing and other creative activities – or just relaxing in a comfy chair.

The street will be divided into themed areas covering recreation & wellbeing, art & culture, food and heritage.
