Unveiling of The Shared

The unveiling of The Shared by Norman Ackroyd RA.

The cover has been made by Zandra Rhodes and can be viewed during the afternoon.

This is a permanent public stone sculpture created by Austin Emery and assembled using all stone pieces carved by participants of Leathermarket Community Sculpture Workshops on Tyers Estate.

There is 90 metres of bunting made by Snowsfields Primary School children in the area around the sculpture.

The site is in Tyers Estate which is reached through Carmarthen Place, off Bermondsey Street, next to SE1 Hairdressers.
