The Art of Being Brilliant

The Mayor of Southwark hosts a morning and afternoon workshop on personal and community transformation with best-selling author and motivational speaker Andy Cope.

Andy Cope will share some of the secrets of Positive Psychology and the findings of his PhD thesis on 'Happiness' to focus on learning new ways of thinking and behaviour that will sustain personal and community brilliance. The aim of this unique workshop is to rejuvenate and inspire, with the impact felt at home, at work, and in the wider community.

Participants in the May and October 2014 sessions described it as "the most inspiring workshop I've ever been to" and "something every staff member, volunteer, or community worker should attend".

100 free places for Southwark residents or members of Southwark community groups and projects are available in either the morning (10am to 1pm) or afternoon (2pm to 5pm) session.

To reserve your free place at either workshop (10am to 1pm or 2pm to 5pm), contact Daisy Coleman at Southwark Council on 020 7525 4985 or [email protected], remembering to only request the morning or afternoon session.
