The TRANSMORFISM Sculpture Project

Every weekend in June, local artist Austin Emery is holding stone sculpting workshops in Tanner Street Park.

Come and enjoy the process through the use of traditional stone sculpting tools and techniques of making changes to the stone.

When your piece is 'finished' (or when you are finished with it!), it will then become part of an open air exhibition we will hold throughout the park. With the park full of sculptures representing everybody's experiences of cutting, marking, chopping and shaping the stone, the park will surely be a different place!

This project aims to include as many people as are willing to participate regardless of age or previous experience.
