This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

Lambeth Palace has one of the oldest and largest private gardens in London. It has been occupied by Archbishops of Canterbury since 1197.

Formal courtyard boasts historic White Marseilles fig planted in 1556. Parkland style garden features mature trees, woodland and native planting, orchard and pond. There is a formal rose terrace, summer gravel border, scented chapel garden and active beehives.

Wine available.

The garden is now open once a month during the day, but these NGS events provide a rare chance to visit this lovely garden in the early evening.
