Presentations on the life and work of Thomas Hodgkin (1799-1866) who discovered Hodgkin's Disease.

He was also a campaigner against slavery and the evening will conclude with a talk by the Revd James Buxton, King's College Chaplain at Guy's, on the struggle against contemporary forms of slavery.

The event, one of several marking the bicentenary of the abolition of the slave trade, is in the Harris Lecture Theatre at the Hodgkin Building at Guy's Hospital.
