Children of the Illam at Nolias Gallery

Photography by the children of the Illam in collaboration with Mo Greig.

This photographic exhibition is the result of six weeks that Mo Greig spent in the Tamil Nadu area of India during November and December 2016.

The Dhan Karanui Illam (DKI) is a home for children from single parent families or orphans.

With a handful of cameras and buckets of enthusiasm, the children, who have never used cameras before, produced the work that is being exhibited at Nolias Gallery in Southwark.

The DKI is raising funds for a new dormitory building to enable them to accommodate more children.
