Borough Market is holding a series of cooking demonstrations on Thursdays throughout August in its Market Hall Demonstration Kitchen to celebrate the influence that the cultural heritage of some of the UK's most innovative chefs has had on their cooking.
Acclaimed food writer and chef Ursula Ferrigno trained at the Auguste Escoffier School of the Culinary Arts and has taught at leading cookery schools in both Italy and the UK. Ursula learned to cook as a child by assisting her grandmother preparing the traditional family dishes and returns regularly to Italy, to visit family and to teach cookery. She embodies the Italian and Mediterranean passion for good food made from the freshest natural ingredients.
