Southwark Cathedral will be marking the second anniversary of the attack, which falls during the inquest into the deaths of those killed that night.
5.30pm: Memorial Evensong and Procession to the Tree of Healing
The service will be sung by the girls and men of the Cathedral Choir during which candles will be lit for those who died. At the end of the service all will be invited to process into the churchyard to the Tree of Healing, blessed at the First Anniversary Service by the Bishop of Southwark, where an Act of Remembrance will be held.
The Cathedral will remain open all evening for people to come in and out to light candles, to leave flowers at the Tree of Healing, to sit and pray.
9.58–10.16pm Compline (Night Prayer) begins at the moment that the attack began. The service concludes in silence at 10.16pm, the moment the attack was brought to an end. The Cathedral will then close.
