The Experiences of Southwark's LGBTQ+ Communities
Healthwatch Southwark and the Southwark LGBT Network are hosting an event bringing together the local community and change-makers in Southwark, to hear key concerns from the LGBTQ+ community in Southwark and discuss solutions to issues surrounding community safety, social isolation, LGBT Venues and more.
They are inviting local residents, local government, health professionals, and influencers to look into how health services and the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) can work together to provide a stronger, more inclusive landscape for the LGBTQ+ community in Southwark.
The findings from this LGBTQ+ community-led survey, running from July - November 2018, showed a mixed outlook on life experiences in Southwark.
