Have your say on setting the themes and priorities for the draft Borough & Bankside Social Regeneration Charter.

The Council is in the process of drawing up social regeneration charters for the whole of the borough, to guide and frame the regeneration and development that is occurring across the borough.

To date social regeneration charters have been agreed or are in the process of being signed off for Canada water, the Old Kent Road and St Thomas's Street at London Bridge.

The Borough & Bankside social regeneration charter, which matches the boundaries of the ward, will have four broad themes, which reflect the priorities of local residents, businesses and stakeholders, and will help guide the spending of the local Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) monies that are raised from developments in our area.

This meeting will be the first opportunity for local residents to learn more about the proposed charter for this ward and also to help contribute to drawing up the draft themes, which will be formally consulted on in the spring.

Do you think heritage, culture and visitor management should be a theme or open space and air quality? Should there be a theme on bringing communities together or affordable housing?

The meeting will start at 7pm and should be finished around 8:30pm. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
