Jazz at Morley: Adam Dyer

Morley College is presenting a weekly series of Jazz concerts via its Facebook page.

Adam Dyer is a pianist and composer who teaches at Morley College and runs the Hideaway Jazz Club's jam sessions and workshops as well as playing with his trio of Eric Ford (drums) and Jakub Cywinski (bass).

He studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Nikki Iles and for two years in Scandinavia working with a variety of musicians from Denmark, Norway and Finland including Dan Berglund (E.S.T.) and Eirik Hegdak (Trondheim Jazz Orchestra).

Adam will present for this concert some music that he has written over the years, including a piece dedicated to the late McCoy Tyner, who sadly passed away this year.
