Lord Byron, the Scandalous Poet

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

No one was more romantic in his life and work than Lord George Byron (1788 - 1824), whose Childe Harold and Don Juan became best-selling narrative poems that offered many clues to the poet's own life and what was gossiped about in the London society of the day. John Calder will talk about the man and actors will read from the work.
