Kinetika

Part of the London Jazz Festival. Hot from their summer school at Southbank Centre, the Bloco present a spectacular new performance. For the past three years, Kinetika's 120 or more young performers have taken the Festival by complete storm with their exuberant mix: massed ranks of brass and percussion, extrovert dancers and extraordinary costumes inspired by Carnival all combine in a roof-raising extravaganza that re-invents the music of the likes of Fela Kuti and Sun Ra in decidedly London style.
