Four of the best zombie films of recent years - thrills, spills and bucket-loads of gore guaranteed!
The evening begins at 11.30pm with Slither, a heady mixture of gross-out body horror, pitch-black humour and B-movie pastiche which proved to be an instant cult hit. Next is 28 Days Later, Danny Boyle's post-apocalyptic thriller which has become a modern British horror classic, and its sequel 28 Weeks Later which picks up the story six months after the rage virus has annihilated mainland Britain. We round off the night with Shaun of the Dead. Edgar Wright's rom-zom-com is one of the funniest British films of recent years, but also manages to deliver a fair amount of splatter and some genuine scares. All films will be shown in 35mm, filling about 1/3 of the giant screen.
Snacks are on sale all night, with alcoholic and soft drinks available at the bar and free tea and coffee. There will be 30 minute breaks between the films. Event finishes approx 9am.
