Tim's work explores macho culture, referencing characters, icons, brands and aesthetics from different periods - for example 1890s poster art, 60s lifestyle magazines and adverts, and present day glamour models.

The construction of masculine/feminine identity, physically and socially, can be seen in the use of silicone, vintage postcards and abstracted erotic playing cards within his collages.
